Have you ever witnessed just one leaf fall?  Have you ever seen just one apple left on the tree? Slowly rotting aging brown…..dangling stagnant in the air…… past it’s beauty past it’s prime…… while others break down below into natural karma strata….. fulfilling progression towards holy continuance and return?

Or, one red cardinal feather clipped, clinging to the tip of a branch? Lost from a wing taken flight? A moment from yesterday (or the day before) left hanging…….  Fluttering like a secret in November breeze?

And from the east a drifting breeze comes shifting……. softly waltzing…… invisible…. tugs on the leaf presses against the feather……  gently plucks it sends it falling….. trailing towards its always was and never changing destiny………

And Oh! to witness the fall, brown tips curled or velvet red singing past your ear…… lands just beside you….. as you will one day….. land just beside the light…….

And Oh!  Burning, brightly morning light cast ghosts of hope across the walls….. Light reflection, refracting into time yet to come….. ghosts of hope shape shift about the periphery and you see but you don’t……….. but you know….. feel it…. like deep-strum-guitar-chord flooding……. reverberating from your eyes and breath…..

Like wind….. let your breath……send it soaring……. towards leaf and feather and apple…… meet gentle pliant resistance….  push into ever moving time and love…….
